Volunteers, board members wanted
The Henry Beston Society is looking for members
for its board of directors, and clerical workers to perform
a variety of functions. These are volunteer positions. Living
on or near Cape Cod is desirable, but not required.
* BOARD OF DIRECTORS: The Beston Society
is looking to expand its board of directors. Experience
in fundraising and grant writing is a plus, along with a
desire to help take a non-profit organization to the next
level. Directors should be able to attend an annual meeting
on Cape Cod, and help out with Beston Society functions.
* BOARD OF ADVISORS: The Beston Society
is looking to expand its board of advisors. If you're passionate about the Outer Beach of Cape Cod and have knowledge of either literary or financial matters, we'd like to have you on board. No meetings necessary, but a willingness to have your brain picked on occasion is.
* CLERICAL WORKERS: The Beston Society
is in need of volunteer workers to perform a variety of
clerical duties, including folding and mailing of newsletters
and brochures, and keeping track of our membership base,
for a few hours each month as needed. Hours are flexible,
work at home.
